Python Setup Problem x86/x64

Postby CubicM » Tue Aug 07, 2012 7:34 am

Following the instructions on this page:

http://www.accelereyes.com/arrayfire/py ... tarted.htm

"python setup.py install" fails, as follows below (problem line in bold).

I have a 64-bit installation of Python 2.6

Hi Cubic.

We do not support 64 bit version on Windows. Can you try 32 bit python + numpy ?

We have this information in our documentation too.
Notes: On Windows numpy is not officially supported for 64 bit architecture. ArrayFire will be using the 32 bit libraries for these systems
