ArrayFire 2.0 / Linux / License server problem

Postby ygavet » Fri Dec 20, 2013 7:28 am

Hello all,

I managed to install the free version of arrayfire under linux and behind a firewall (by the way, to go through the firewall, define proxy options for java in the file activate.sh with -Dhttp.proxy=... )

The license file has been downloaded. However, I cannot figure out how to start the license server. My license file does not contain any SERVER line, nor a VENDOR line. Is there a script somewhere to be placed in the init.d directory ?

My config is Debian 3.2.51-1 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Thanks
Yann

Hi,

The file you downloaded is a trial license that is valid for 15 days. You can use it without problems for now.

Once the trial expires, arrayfire will automatically connect to our free license server when necessary. For this ports 27000 and 27001 need to be open. That is it.
