Linking in Fortran (arrayfire)

Postby itsmrjon » Fri Jun 22, 2012 4:38 am

I recently installed Arrayfire on my mac. The install appears to work fine with the exception of the Fortran portion. When attempting to compile the examples (from makefile) the following error is issued:

Code: Select all
ld: library not found for -laf_fortran

I am not sure how to alleviate the issue with linking. The AF_PATH/fortran/lib and lib64 folder are empty. I have attempted to reinstall arrayfire and the issue remains.

In addition:
I also noticed the module for arrayfire was not compiled by default, so I went into the module directory and compiled:
Code: Select all
gfortran -c arrayfire.f95

to produce the corresponding .mod file (which alleviated the issue stating that the arrayfire module could not be opened).

Sorry about the confusion, but arrayfire for fortran is only supported for Linux right now. We will add this as a feature request and try to support it soon.
