nightly install win32 on win64 system

Postby nsezille » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:29 pm

Hi,

I have been using jacket and matlab 32bits on a win7 64 for a good while now, it works just fine for me.

However, I decided to test the new nightly build and was surprised not to find the win32 dlls installed (missing 'bin' folder).
Is it the way things will be from now on? Release 2.0 seems fine, I was able to do my usual dll juggling and got a working jacket.

btw, I have 1 GPU, with version 2.0:

some_info = ginfo(1)
returns a structure that is mostly empty while

some_info = ginfo(0) is correct.

Thanks,
Nicolas

Hi,

Sorry for the hiccup in the installation procedure. I'm glad you managed to setup Jacket and it's working fine for you. I have filed this bug(JKT-3101) and we plan to fix this with Jacket v2.1.

Also, ginfo is one-based and ginfo(1) should work in your case as you have 1 GPU in the system. This will be fixed soon and ticket number for this task is JKT-3102. I will post here once we have this in the nightly. Thanks for reporting.

Thanks for the update,

would you be able to update the thread when the fixes make it into the night builds?

Thanks
