mldivide license issue

Postby LieutenantLefse » Fri Oct 28, 2011 12:45 pm

According to http://wiki.accelereyes.com/wiki/index.php/Jacket_DLA I should not need any add-on license to use mldivide for single-precision, real-valued inputs. However, I'm getting this license error:

>> gactivate
Welcome to Jacket: The GPU Engine for MATLAB!

Verifying Installation ....

Is Jacket gpu_entry.mex file found? .... OK
Is the driver version correct? .... OK
Is jlicense.dat license file found? .... OK

Testing Jacket license and runtime ....

Note, if you need to upgrade from a trial license to a
purchased license, select the Host ID below of your most
stable network interface. Then paste the Host ID into the
Manage Licenses page (https://www.accelereyes.com/licenses)
and download the license. Finally, place the file here:
<jacket_root>/engine/jlicense.dat

Host ID 1 = 002564B7157E

To get more information about your network interfaces, you
can run the following in MATLAB:
For Windows, >> !ipconfig /all
For Linux or Mac, >> !ifconfig

>> A=grand(4,4);
>> b=grand(4,1);
>> A\b
??? Error using ==> mldivide
license required (src/matlab/calls/mldivide.cpp:111)

This is with Jacket 1.8.0. I've tried updating to the latest version, but it crashes - I posted separately about that.
