Postby yefei0520 » Wed Oct 19, 2011 12:55 pm

I am using Ubuntu 11.10 and trying to install CUDA developer drivers but not successful.

I was following steps on page:

But every time I tried to run command to exit X server in terminal.

sudo service gdm stop

It said:

stop: Unknown instance:

Can you guys help?

System: Ubuntu 11.10
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
GPU: GeForce GT 420
