Arrayfire (free) License Issure

Postby mstrayer » Fri Jan 18, 2013 1:17 pm

I just downloaded the latest version of arrayfire and am trying to use it on a RHEL6 64bit system.
I have it installed in /usr/local/arrayfire and have AF_PATH set to this.

When I try to run any of the examples I receive the following:

Code: Select all
[mhs@lbx helloworld]$ ./helloworld
src/gena/gi_core.cpp:39: error: src/license.cpp:245: af_base license not found in specified license source (<unknown>)

I have two other software packages that use FLEXLM installed on the machine, MATLAB and the PGI
Fortran compiler. LM_LICENSE_PATH is not set but LM_LICENSE_FILE is set to /opt/pgi/license.dat

Hi Mike,

If LM_LICENSE_FILE is set, you will need to do the following at the end of your .bashrc or .bash_profile (or in the terminal which is temporary)

Code: Select all
export LM_LICENSE_FILE=$LM_LICENSE_FILE:27000@server.accelereyes.com

If you still can not use free version arrayfire, please make sure ports 27000 and 27001 are open by using telnet on the ports.
Pavan Yalamanchili,
ArrayFire
