STICKY: Source for CUDA driver/toolkit

Postby vishy » Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:27 pm

NVIDIA distributes a variety of drivers, but for Jacket to run, it is important that you download the CUDA driver and toolkit from this link only:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_get.html

As of the date of this post, this is the only official source for the CUDA driver and toolkit. Jacket will not run as intended if you download the driver from any other link.
Also, please make sure you download the files specific to your Operating System. We cannot guarantee that Jacket will work as intended with an older or mismatched set of driver and/or toolkit.

Do NOT use drivers from the following sources for Jacket:
- NVIDIA drivers offered through Windows Update
- NVIDIA Forceware
- http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
