ArrayFire Project Setting with Ubuntu + eclipse CDT

Postby dckyoung » Tue Jul 29, 2014 3:48 am

Dear Genius,

I am newbie to Arrayfire. I can compile example codes which contains in arrayfire example folder. Then I would like to build it by my self using my favorite IDE which is eclipse, but it keeps giving me a series of errors. Maybe linker problems.

Is there any tutorials regarding this topic anywhere?

Thanks in advance,

DK

Hi

You can open the project using Eclipse as
File -> New -> Project -> C/C++ -> Makefile with Existing Code. Now select the helloworld directory.
Go to project settings and in "Builder Settings" and the build command to make (cuda/opencl) depending on your preference.
Also change the build location to point to the helloworld directory.

This should get it to work.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
